On the District 7-3A team, three local players made the first team unit: Edward Brown and Charlie Greer of Baker High School were named to the 7-3A squad. Both seniors became two of the best players in the district during the course of their solid careers for the Baker Buffalos.
Along with being named a first team selection, Senior Charlie Greer was named the district’s Co-Defensive Most Valuable Player. Greer shared that award with Northeast High School star Jarvis Houston. NHS also had another player to make the first team as Jonathan Huggins was named to the first unit in district 7-3A.
West Feliciana’s DeShawn Morrison and Kennth Davis were also named to the second team unit along with Demascus Jackson of Northeast High School.
Clinton’s Takemian Caesar was named to the district 7-2A first team Unit for his play this past season. Caesar is one of the top young players in district 7-2A as he will return next season for his senior year.
