The Zachary Legendz 11U Black baseball team recently competed in the LA Firehawks Classic baseball tournament in Walker March 20 and 21. Tournament results for the Legendz: Saturday, March 20, Legendz tied with the Baton Rouge Rays 4 - 4; then defeated the Louisiana Firehawks 14 - 3. On Sunday, March 21, Legendz beat the Louisiana Firehawks again 12 - 2, and then went on to win against Lafayette’s Louisiana Xtreme 12 - 4. In the Zachary Legendz Black championship game against Louisiana Xtreme, Brant Garrett was the starting pitcher and Matthew Hopwood ended the game as the closing pitcher. Congratulations, Legendz!
