A retired federal employee of the Selective Service System and OSHA, and a resident of Baker, she passed away Friday, June 25, 2010 at 9:10pm at Lane Regional Medical Center. She was 85, and a native of Truman, Arkansas. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Monday, June 28, 2010 from 4-8pm, and on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 from 9am until religious services in the chapel at 11am, conducted by Rev. Jay Avance. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Ralph Dyson Germany; three sons and daughters-in-law, Larry Ralph Germany & Linda Baudier Germany, James Dyson Germany & Evelyn Guyban Germany, and John Harry Germany & Bernadette Riche' Germany; six grandchildren, Laura Germany Russell, Tracy Germany DeOliviera, Jenna Germany Young, Dyson Andrew Germany, John Riche' Germany, and Katherine Patricia Germany; two nieces, Sharon Bradley Lagarde and Pat Bradley May; and a nephew, Bruce Bradley. Preceded in death by her parents, Harry & Elva Ferguson; a sister, Betty Jo Ferguson Bradley; and a brother, Harry J. Ferguson. Pallbearers will be Jack and Dyson Germany, Brent Young, Mario DeOliviera, Don May, and David Ratcliff. Honorary pallbearers are Herbert "Buck" Ballard and Don Cockerham. She was an avid golfer and a lover of travel and cross-word puzzles. She will always be remembered for her kind heart, compassion, and trememdous love for her family.
