" Retired from the food-service industry and native of Port Allen, she passed away Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, at 7:20 a.m. at her daughter and son-in-law's home in Central. She was 94 and a former longtime resident of Baker. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home on Thursday, Sept. 2, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting continues at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 5657 Thomas Road, Friday, Sept. 3, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., celebrated by the Rev. Frank Bass. Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara "Bobbie" and Steve Manske; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph L. and Teri Pickens; sister, Shirley Thibodeaux; grandchildren and their spouses, Louis Fletcher, Debbie and Earl Sharkey, Billy and Cindy Conerly, Jennifer and Robert Work, Rhonda Thibodeaux, Joey and Jenny Pickens, Johnny Pickens, and Leander Pickens; stepgrandchildren and their spouses, Tina Ellibe, and Robin and Nick Voytas; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Louisa and Benny St. Romain; four brothers and two sisters. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Louis Fletcher and Billy Conerly, and great-grandsons, Joshua Hutchinson and Christopher, Devin and Andy Conerly. Special thanks to Dr. Folse, nurse Bea, aide Jackie and the staff of St. Joseph Hospice. Rosalie was a longtime member of St. Isidore Catholic Church.
