A wonderful and loving father, grandfather and brother, Albert "Bert" Sidney Dezendorf Jr. died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, at Lane Regional Medical Center, Zachary. He was 57. Visiting at Charlet Funeral Home Inc., Zachary, on Wednesday, Sept. 8, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Kevin Sartin. Burial in Azalea Rest Cemetery, Zachary. He is survived by a daughter, Lacey Dezendorf Gorman and husband Chris, of Zachary; son, Sidney James "Jamie" Dezendorf, of Jackson; two sisters, Dianne Dezendorf DeLee and husband Johnny, of Ethel, and Sue Dezendorf Gorman, of Zachary; two grandchildren, Christopher Gorman and Ashlynn Gorman; and numerous other relatives, friends and business associates. Preceded in death by his parents, Albert Sidney Dezendorf Sr. and Beatrice Bankston Dezendorf; and nephews, John Britton DeLee and Casey Duane Gorman. Pallbearers will be Chris Junkersfeld, Chris Gorman, Lawrence Callender, Jordan Callender, Shane DeLee and Dylan DeLee. Honorary pallbearers are John Ray DeLee and Damon DeLee.
