Hands of Stone boxing results from Baker Buffalo Festival

Hands of Stone Boxing Club of Clinton, under the direction of Kevin Allen, hosted 24 sanctioned amateur boxing matches during the recent Baker Buffalo Festival.

Three rounds of a minute or a minute and a half were held in an arena set up in the Municipal Auditorium.

Judges declared the bout between Dwain Fuselier, 20, and Ronald Boyd, 32, as Fight of the Night and awarded the fighters with trophies.

A three-way tie for team trophy was won by The Best Boxing Club, Crowley Boxing Club and Hands of Stone.

Boxers ranged in age from 9 to 32 and were matched by age and weight. All the winners received trophies.

Winners in the order of their matches were Taylor Patout, Alex George, Kaylyn Alfred, King James Copeland, Nolan Wells, Bricen Cable, Quantavious Green, Kaelon Winters, Greg Soileau, Louis Rosales, Donald Aikens and Joshua Jackson.

Also, Scott Julien, Henry Allen, Tyrese Cormier, Manialro Hills, Keenan Hickman, Dwain Fuselier, Demarea Hamilton, Steven Gautier, Justin Sowell, Keithlen Franklin, Samuel Ellsworth and Terry Wilson.

Other boxing clubs with fighters were ABC, Back Street, Baton Rouge, Breaux Bros., BREC 14th Street, Eastside, Extreme, Louisiana Bad Boys, Paxton’s Gym, Pearl, Southern Skill, Stephens, West Monroe, World Class and Youngsville.

Former fighter, Clayton Lewis, was announcer.
